The Citroën HY was presented to the public in 1947 and build until 1981. This model with the split windscreen was build until 1964. The construction of the Citroën HY is very clever. It uses a so called omega profile and corrugated steel plates to achieve a very strong and light construction. The Citroën HY could be delivered in a lot of variations, from pickup to high volume transporter. The model presented here is the standard type.
The model is designed to be printed on 160 grams water resistant photo paper. Additionally some card stock is needed (0,5mm thick to reinforce the sides and wheels).
De Citroën HY werd in 1947 gepresenteerd aan het publiek en is gebouwd tot 1981. Dit model met de dubbele voorruit is gebouwd tot 1964. De Citroën HY heeft een slimme constructie met omega profielen en ribbel plaatwerk waardoor de HY een sterke, relatief lichte, en ruime bestelwagen is. De HY kon in allerlei varianten geleverd worden van pick-up tot groot volume transporter. De versie van het model is de standaard uitvoering.
Het model is ontworpen om op 160 grams watervast fotopapier af te drukken. Voor het bouwen van het model is verder nog karton van 0,5 mm dik benodigd voor de zijwanden en de wielen.
